In 2018 I participated in GHD Group’s Smart Seeds programme, which is a global innovation twelve week programme focused on young adults coming together from a variety of sectors and businesses to tackle a challenge set to them. My group had the problem of the general public not being engaged with climate change and decision makers - we came up with an educational programme to implement in primary schools which will teach children about climate change but also has a competition aspect to it, where schools will compete to reduce their carbon emissions the most over a period of time.
This was a very exciting opportunity which I am thankful to be a part of. What was also amazing was that my group was picked from the panel of CE judges as the winner!
I was also able to contribute to the programme with my creative skills and designed the business case document and the branding for the programme.
