DIGITAL DESIGN / PRINT DESIGN / BRANDING / TYPOGRAPHY
Personal ongoing project
I love creating hand-typographic prints. I doodle lyrics, quotes and my thoughts in my notebooks. The types of text I turn into typography depends on my mood, but I always create something that has some kind of meaning or connection to me. I have recently started turning these typographic doodles into digital prints, and have also put them up onto my Etsy for purchase!
At Metlink Wellington I am the Digital Media Coordinator, where I run social media accounts and create digital graphics to promote various events happening with the Metlink Wellington public transport or events that effect the public transport. These graphics get used on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and their website.

ShipInsight is an industrial marketing company; connecting ship owners, maritime suppliers, naval consultants, and everything in between to the information they need to know about the ever changing industry.
ShipInsight approached me to create their 2018 Media Kit to give out to give out to clients to showcase their print and digital content that they produce weekly, monthly and annually. This will be published and distributed by hand, and also uploaded to their website as a downloadable PDF.
The requirements were to have the company's blue colours, a bold typeface and to show off some of their previous work, and track record data.
I had a lot of fun with this project as I love editorial, typographical and infographical work, and this Media Kit allowed me to combine all of these skills into one!

I the Graphic Designer and also Assistant Social Media Manager on my church's Creative Team. This entails designing and creating digital slides to be used in each weekly service, print and digital media to promote upcoming events; as well as collating and publishing content on all social media accounts.
This is an ongoing position, and I will update this page with new work that I create.
Harcourts, Real Estate
Working at Harcourts I mainly focused on editorial print work. I was either creating advertisements for the Real Estate Agents, or designing templates for collateral; some of this included:
- DLEs to leave at open homes (fig. 3) - Business Cards to pass out to clients - Coasters to pass out to clients - Calendars to pass out to the community (fig. 4 & 5) - Advertisements for newspapers (fig. 1 & 2)
Good to Great
I worked with the Rotary Club of Wellington to produce this media to help promote their upcoming event 'Good To Great', a forum to open the discussion on how to make the New Zealand capital a better place for it's people. After producing this media I also helped organised the event, including running the Twitter and LinkedIn accounts and preparing content for the blog.
Social Media Banner
This is a personal project that I gave myself; a challenge of sorts. I want(ed) to design the whole alphabet as icons designed as - or with - something that begins with that letter.

"Prepair NZ is an educational prevention strategy for domestic abuse in Aotearoa, New Zealand. They work with young women between 13-24 years old to teach them about healthy relationships, firstly with themselves and others through workshops, and the online community."
Prepair NZ created a booklet that is a guide for young women to educate themselves about healthy relationships. My job was to create two pages that were to be inserted inside the booklet. These pages were to have a positive, badass quote about relationships and self-worth, which I pulled from the Prepair NZ mantra. These pages were to be able to be coloured-in, akin to the "adult colouring-in books".
These pages were to then be able to be posted onto the Prepair NZ social media accounts using their pink-red-white colours to draw attention to their cause and help promote the booklet.
Typeface Book & Poster
Project for Massey University
The brief I worked with was ‘A Life’s Work’ to honour Adrian Frutiger, particularly his typeface, Univers as it is one of the most successful and beautiful typefaces in the world to date.
I aimed in targeting the market of designers who may know the existance of Univers but don’t actually understand how important and sucessful a typoeface it actually is.
The overall theme I used was the explosion of Univers in both the design world and the every day world; through this I used the metaphor of the ‘universe’ to typographically (with diagrams of the galaxy and explosions) and textually (using subtle puns and references to space) show how Univers took over the world, or, ‘universe’.
‘Univers is proving to be one of the most important and enduring typefaces of the twentieth century. In 40 years Univers has had so many sisters and brothers around the world, in Japan I could hardly recognise my own font.’ — Adrian Frutiger
[Assorted Logo & Iconography]
This is a collection of logos and brand iconography that I have created over the years.

Project for Massey University
I designed the complete inside and outside of this book as a way to show the portfolio of architecture and interior designs of Studio Pacific Architecture. I was given an extensive set of photographs and the body copy, and was given the freedom to design this book on whichever way I wanted to.
I wanted to communicate precise, clean design throughout my book. I took the idea of the open format on one of their architectural work and I played with that idea as well as a consistent pattern of cut outs and precise lines throughout each architectural work to create the laser cut cover.
